WHY I LIKE WORKING AT KOMEG
Working atmosphere
I like working at KOMEG because the family working atmosphere is just great. It feels like we are all part of one big family that supports and respects each other. You're not an unknown number in a big system - you know each other and communication is easy and straightforward. This creates a pleasant working environment in which you feel comfortable.
Another reason is the appreciation I receive as an employee. Ideas and opinions are heard and valued, which gives me the feeling that my work is really important and contributes to the success of the company.
In addition to this, my field of work offers me a lot of variety and excitement. I don't have a pure desk job where I stubbornly sit in front of a screen. There are always new challenges and interesting projects, so it never gets boring and I can constantly develop myself. That makes the work interesting and versatile.
The flexible working hours through flextime and home office options are another plus point. I can adjust my working hours to my personal needs and thus have a good work-life balance.
Overall, I'm very happy and satisfied with my work here. The familiar working atmosphere, the varied range of tasks, the appreciation as an employee, the flexible working hours and the easy communication make KOMEG a special place for me.

I like working at KOMEG because my job as an assembler allows me to work in a physically comfortable position; at other employers, for example, my back suffered a lot. I also have the option of flextime. Especially as a fitter, it is rather rare to have this flexibility in working hours. I can better integrate my work into my personal daily routine, which improves the work-life balance. I really appreciate that the company offers this opportunity to all employees, including fitters like me.
Another reason, for example, is the recent salary adjustment to the cost of living. KOMEG recognizes that the cost of living is rising and adjusts my salary accordingly.
The appreciation of my work by my supervisor is also a plus. I am listened to and concerns and suggestions are addressed; for example, I was given a bonus for a suggestion for improvement. This shows me that my ideas and suggestions are really important and that the company is willing to invest in my development. This gives me additional motivation to continue to be actively involved.
The company also offers great additional benefits such as a job bike or English courses for further training. These allow me to develop personally and professionally and to expand my skills.
Another plus point that really excites me is the opportunity to bring my dog to work sometimes. This creates a positive atmosphere and a pleasant working environment that perfectly suits me and my lifestyle.

Gaining experience
I am employed as a working student at KOMEG and there are many reasons why this workplace is ideal for me.
For example, the personal environment at the site. As a working student, this gives me the opportunity to get to know different departments and work on interdisciplinary projects. This experience gives me a comprehensive insight into all of the company's areas of responsibility and I can apply my theoretical learning from my studies directly in practice.
I find it particularly positive that my studies harmonize well with the content of my work here. There are many interface professions in this area, and my job here gives me the chance to get to know all facets of these professions. This not only broadens my horizons, but also allows me to continuously expand my knowledge and skills and better identify my interests and strengths. This allows me to develop in a targeted manner and define my career goals more clearly.
The working atmosphere here is also very pleasant. All colleagues are extremely nice and helpful. Time is taken to explain things to me and to familiarize me with new tasks. This supportive environment helps make me feel comfortable.
Another great advantage of this workplace is the flexible working hours. As a student, it's often a challenge to balance your studies and work. Here, however, the working hours can be easily reconciled with my schedule. This allows me to achieve an optimal balance between work and study.

Zerspanungsmechaniker mit Schwerpunkt Fräsetechnik (m/w/d)
Zur Verstärkung unser Produktion, suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen erfahrenen Fräser (m/w/d)
Deine Aufgaben
- Anfertigung von Einzel- und Serienteilen nach Konstruktuionsvorgaben
- Selbstständiges Einrichten, Bedienen und Überwachen von CNC-Fräsmaschinen
- Durchführung von Qualitätskontrollen während des Fertigungsprozesses
- Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen, um reibungslose Abläufe sicherzustellen
Dein Profil:
- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Zerspanungsmechaniker (m/w/d) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als Fräser
- Gute Kenntnisse in der Bedienung und Programmierung von CNC-Fräsmaschinen
- Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit technischen Zeichnungen und Messmitteln
- Selbstständige Arbeitsweise, Teamfähigkeit und hohe Qualitätsorientierung
