Our solution:
The digital micrometer (item no.: 422-230-30) from Mitutoyo, which is equipped with 2 narrow measuring surfaces, was modified. The original measuring tips have been removed on the anvil and spindle side and replaced with high-quality spherical permanently fitted measuring inserts made of hardened steel. This adaptation enables precise measurement of the distance between the two spherical countersinks of the customer-specific contour.
