Combination of 2 micrometers
If technically possible, different measuring devices can also be combined as special measuring devices.
Here, for example, 2 micrometers from Mitutoyo (389-252-30 and 342-254-30) have been combined to create a special solution.
The digital outside micrometer with a deep shackle, which is used to measure large-area parts such as metal sheets, is equipped with a flat anvil and a flat spindle side as standard. These have been removed and replaced by the pointed measuring surfaces of another outside micrometer.
This combination enables greater measuring freedom when measuring rivets or heels, for example.
